2 witnesses sentenced for role in Kevin Quick murder case

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (WWBT) - Two witnesses who testified in the federal racketeering case against the gang members who killed Waynesboro Police Reserve Capt. Kevin Quick were sentenced on Tuesday.
Leslie Hope Casterlow, 52, was sentenced to 44 months in prison, according to NBC29. She pleaded guilty in July 2014 to obstruction of justice charges.
Court records show she admitted to throwing out an ATM and a bloody jacket while helping four people -- Daniel Mathis, Kweli Uhuru, Shantai Shelton and Mersadies Shelton -- who were involved in Quick's abduction and murder in early 2014.
Quick went missing in January 2014 and authorities found his body in a remote area near the Fluvanna-Goochland border. He died from being shot.
Anthony White, 24, received 83 months in prison for his role in thefts and the destruction of evidence in the Quick case. He also pleaded guilty in July 2014 to a racketeering conspiracy charge.
Earlier this month, Mathis, Uhuru, Shelton and Shelton were sentenced to life in prison for killing Quick.
