Internet goes wild over photo of girl with poison ivy reaction in eyes
(WWBT) - One sister's unfortunate incident with poison ivy has gone viral after her eyes swelled up and her sister found humor in it.
Emily Petrozza, 21, noticed she had poison ivy on her arm after fishing with her friends and taking care of cuts in her neighborhood.
NBC Connecticut says she wasn't concerned, but after taking out her contact lenses her face swelled.
The next morning, her face was swollen so much her eyes were barely visible. Her sister, Lauren Petrozza, 17, found humor in this and posted a photo to Twitter, where users were amused.
The original photo has been retweeted nearly 60,000 times and has been posted to sites such as Buzzfeed and Yahoo.
Emily told Buzzfeed on Tuesday that she is doing much better after taking medications.
