Body of slain VA police officer back in Massachusetts

PRINCE WILLIAM, VA (WWBT) - The body of Virginia police officer Ashley Guindon is back in Massachusetts.
An honor guard from Virginia arrived at the airport along with members of Guindon's family. Police provided an escort as her casket was taken to the funeral home.
The 28-year-old was killed in Prince William County Saturday, one day after she was sworn in as a police officer.
A funeral mass and burial will be held Monday.
