. - Good news for Disney lovers!

Allegiant Airlines announced new non-stop flights to Orlando Thursday morning, and for a short time, they will be as low as $29 one way. The airline plans to begin flights on April 14. The flights will operate on Thursdays and Sundays, but a specific time of day has not been determined.

"I love the sun!" exclaimed Yvonne Rodriguez, who was at the airport and eager to hear the news. "I love Disney. I have family there, and it is the perfect place for me to go."

"I really think that the $29 fare is such an awesome opportunity for families to Orlando that they've probably been dreaming about doing!" Allegiant employee Kim Schaefer said.

Sandra Hobson sure thinks so because she likes to take her grandchildren to Disney. "That would be great if we could fly there a lot cheaper because we're not driving anymore!" she said.

Go to Allegiant's website to book the cheaper flight, but flights must be booked by Monday if you want to travel by August 17, 2016 because prices will go up after that date. Allegiant officials say their average flights are about $80, but the prices will vary.
