RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - Fast food workers are on strike, protesting and marching around city hall. They are asking for $15 an hour, which is what they consider to be a fair wage.

The march follows a strike outside a McDonald's on Nine Mile Road that happened Tuesday morning. It's all part of a larger movement going on across the country Tuesday, known as the "Fight For 15."

Protesters want their voices heard ahead of the presidential election, hoping that's when they'll get what they want.
