RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - Sources confirm a battalion chief with the Richmond Fire Department is charged with misdemeanor assault.
Sources say Tina Watkins allegedly assaulted a male firefighter, who then made the complaint.
A Richmond Fire Department spokesman said, "This is a personnel issue currently being investigated by Human Resources." He would not comment on whether Watkins or the other person involved were on any kind of administrative leave.
