REI opening first store in Richmond

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - An outdoor gear retailer is opening its first store in the Richmond area. R.E.I., Recreational Equipment Inc., is opening a store in West Broad Village November 20.
The store says it has hired 54 people. It will have a bicycle shop as well as camping, hiking and paddling gear. REI will offer classes in outdoor sports for beginners and the more advanced.
