FOREST GROVE, Ore. (KPTV/Gray News) - All five victims found during a homicide investigation in Oregon have been identified.

Authorities began investigating the deaths of five people and several domestic animals after an early morning fire Saturday on a rural Washington County property.

The incident was later determined to be a quintuple homicide.

Deputies first responded at 5:27 a.m. Saturday to help the Forest Grove Fire Department with a reported vehicle fire on Otis Lane in an unincorporated rural area outside Forest Grove. Firefighters at the scene discovered human remains, prompting them to alert law enforcement.

Responders subsequently found a total of five people and several domestic animals dead on the property.

“This is being investigated as a quintuple homicide,” a spokesperson for the Washington County Sheriff’s Office said during a Sunday press conference, confirming that investigators do not believe this was a random act.

The sheriff’s office said Sunday night that a suspect, identified as 36-year-old Benjamin Charles Parker, was found dead inside his car in Enumclaw, Washington, and that investigators believe he died by suicide. The Enumclaw Police Department said Parker was found dead behind a Safeway grocery store and confirmed that the scene was connected to the Forest Grove investigation.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office identified all five victims and their relationships to one another on Monday afternoon.

Authorities said 26-year-old Stella Jade Kimsey, of Forest Grove, lived on the property with Parker, who was her boyfriend and the suspect in the case. Sixty-year-old Rowan Karla Kimsey, of Forest Grove, owned the property and resided there. Mary Elizabeth Kimsey, of Portland, was Stella Kimsey’s 85-year-old grandmother and the mother of Rowan Kimsey. Linsey Mae Haraldsen, 26, of Portland, was Stella Kimsey’s best friend. Twenty-seven-year-old Alvin Raymond Chu, also of Portland, was Haraldsen’s partner.

“In my 22 years here, I have not been a part of or witnessed a scene quite this complex,” Washington County Sheriff Caprice Massey said. “I recognize that this incident is deeply concerning to our community. Our investigators are working to determine what happened, and we have dedicated every available resource to this case.”

The highly complex investigation is being led by the detective unit at the sheriff’s office with support from the Washington County Major Crimes Team, a group of investigators from law enforcement agencies across the county.

State forensics teams, K-9 units and county animal services were also processing the heavily vegetated property.

Detectives are pleading for tips from anyone familiar with the residence, its occupants or their associates.

“There are no details too small,” Massey said.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Washington County authorities at 503-629-0111.
