Police: Juvenile shot in Hopewell
HOPEWELL, Va. (WWBT) - The Hopewell police department is investigating after a juvenile was shot.
According to police, Hopewell Telecommunications got a call just after 9:40 p.m. on Tuesday, January 13, about a juvenile who had been shot.
Once on scene, police found a 17-year-old male who had a non-life-threatening gunshot wound at the 1000 block of E. Broadway Avenue.
The victim was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The suspect’s identity is currently being investigated and his whereabouts are unknown.
The investigation into this incident is ongoing.
