Chesterfield Police to hold traffic operation on Hull Street Road

CHESTERFIELD, Va. (WWBT)— On one road in Chesterfield County, drivers can expect an increased police presence Thursday.

Chesterfield County Police say on June 26, officers will hold a traffic enforcement operation on Hull Street Road.

There will be more officers in the area focusing on speeding, reckless driving, red-light running, impaired driving, seat belt use, and cell-phone use while driving.

This comes after Chesterfield police asked the community where they would like to see the department’s next operation. Out of five options, Hull Street Road received nearly 250 votes.

Chesterfield police previously held similar operations in March and December.
