Man’s body found along James River
RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) -Police are investigating after a man’s body was found near the south bank of the James River on Monday evening.
On April 28, just after 6 p.m., officers were called to the 5000 block of Riverside Drive for the report of a person down in the James River, just upriver from the Boulevard Bridge.
Officers, along with the Richmond Fire Department and EMS, found the body on a rock/concrete pad about 20 yards from the riverbank on the south side of the river.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Medical Examiner will determine the cause and manner of death.
