15-year-old injured after shooting; found near Hotchkiss Park

RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) -A 15-year-old boy is recovering after he was found shot near Hotchkiss Park in Richmond Friday night.

Around 11:53 p.m. on Nov. 29, officers were called to the intersection of East Brookland Park Boulevard and Letcher Avenue near Hotchkill Park for the report of a person shot.

Officers arrived and found a 15-year-old teenage boy shot. He was transported to a local hospital with injuries non-life-threatening.

Detectives have determined that the shooting happened across the street from the park in the 3000 block of Alpine Avenue.
