(WWBT) - It has become more popular for Americans to celebrate the holidays away from home. According to CNN, 90 percent of families will travel by car.
Most people driving are traveling for long-distance trips during the holidays between Dec. 23 and Jan 3. About 100 million people will travel at least 50 miles from home.
Locally, Amazon has increased the number of items available for one-hour delivery, so expect heavier than normal traffic near the Amazon Distribution Center.
