Someone is painting squirrels in a Connecticut town, animal control says

EAST HARTFORD, CT (WFSB/Gray News) - Someone is painting squirrels in East Hartford, and local animal control personnel are trying to find out who.

East Hartford, CT Animal Control says two squirrels found in the area of Naubuc Avenue and High Street appeared to have been painted in the area

One was blue and the other was red, according to photos the department shared on social media.

Animal control said the squirrels appear to be ok, but they are looking for whoever was responsible.
