Victim identified in Mosby Court homicide

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - Richmond police have ruled a man's death Monday morning in Mosby Court as a homicide.
Police identified the victim as 34-year-old Kendell Coward.
Officers were called at 2:27 a.m. on Monday to a home in the 1900 block of Raven Street for the report of a person shot.
Police responded and found Coward suffering from a gunshot wound inside the home.
He died at the scene. The Medical Examiner will determine the cause and manner of death.
Detectives from the Major Crimes Unit are handling the death investigation and ask anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at (804) 780-1000.
