Deputies investigate teen shooting in Spotsylvania

SPOTSYLVANIA, VA (WWBT) - A teenager is recovering in a hospital after he was shot early Wednesday morning in Spotsylvania.
The Spotsylvania County Sheriff's Office says the 17-year-old was shot in the upper body around 4:30 am at a residence in the 5000 block of Blarney Street in the Chancellor Green Subdivision.
The teen was taken to Mary Washington Hospital, where he is in critical, but stable condition.
Investigators say that based on preliminary information, drug activity and multiple firearms were found throughout the home, discarded on the floor. No suspect has been identified at this time.
