Double shooting at Richmond's Southside Plaza

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - Richmond Police are currently investigating a double shooting in the parking lot of Southside Plaza, off Hull Street in the city's Southside.

Investigators received a call for shots fired came in at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday. When officers responded to the scene, they found one victim with life-threatening injuries. That victim was rushed by ambulance to an area hospital.

A short time later, police said a second victim showed up at an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Detectives are in the preliminary stages of the investigation. It's unclear if this was a random shooting.

There is no word on any suspects at this time.
