Man injured in Richmond shooting

RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) - Richmond Police say a man was injured in a shooting that occurred Tuesday night on the city’s east end.
Officers responded to the area of Redwood Avenue and Mechanicsville Turnpike around 11:20 p.m. and found the victim shot in the torso.
He was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police have not released any suspect information.
